Wedding at Raffles' Lawn

Sometime mid this year, we organized JY and E's wedding. They were married last year in Dec and we had planned their intimate ROM with only 3 other people involved - Their two witnesses and the JOP. Probably the most intimate ceremony we have every done!

So, this year, it was another intimate event, a dinner held for 100 guests and as it was on E's (the bride) birthday, the event was a surprise for her. She knew it was happening... but colours, itinerary, food, favors were a mystery to her. We worked closely with JY and deciding on the main colours, flowers and all the other details were carefully thought through with him. 

The theme was cheery, bright and simple. Here are some pictures of the set up and the evening dinner which was held at The Lawn, Raffles Hotel.

Nikoi with an after Regis

We were extremely lucky to be able to be part of Vanessa and James's wedding. This was such an exciting wedding to work on and every moment of it was very special. 


Nikoi is a tiny tiny tiny x 10 island off Bintan. James and Vanessa had heard of it and were playing with the idea of holding their wedding ceremony and an intimate dinner there. While I on the other hand, have been having a love affair with Nikoi since 2007. It was extremely exciting to have that opportunity to plan a wedding there! And it was an adventure from the start to the end. 


A more formal evening dinner was later held at St Regis just a day after returning from Nikoi.
