A piece from Vera Wang |
We just received some photos of one of our July weddings and thought it will be lovely to share them with you. The colour theme was green and ivory, which went very well with both venues - Church of St Ignatius (morning) and St Regis (evening).
We had a rather special bride, she inspired us in so many different ways, was excited about trying new things and was open to having her wedding different. Here are our top 5 likes -
a) No reception table at the dinner. Instead, seating charts were put up for the guests to check which table they were on.
b) No aisle stands - Hoooray! We did have 2 pedestals with large flower arrangements to mark the entrance of the aisle.
c) No stage in the ballroom. Speeches were done on the dance floor.
d) Gold tiffany chairs for the VIP table.
e) After party was at the gallery area of the St Regis ballroom. A DJ was hired along with 8 sets of lounge benches and tables. The area was converted into a mini club for the night.
The bride's sister made the loveliest cupcakes for the church reception and they not only looked good but tasted fabulous. If you are like what you see from the photos, check out Plain Vanilla.
